Ordeals of the King

Fate can be a cruel malicious existence to many, for the Ookami many of their lives and homes were destroyed on the long remembered Day of Cyrex. The race despite having recovered from the massacre have many who live in denial of their past lives. 

However... there are some who wish to atone for their foolishness 
After years of hiding the former King Zerell Leonardes Hikarikaze returns to the Vita Nova Mainland to regather hope to the Ookami, reason with his former friend Edgar Cyrex, and to reunite with his children. 

After the death of his wife Yelina, Zerell felt crushed and discarded his duties as King and Barer of the Sword of Shiranui to flee out of sorrow and guilt. 
Doing this willed hatred and anger into his people and his own daughter Lydia who would hold this grudge for years to come. 

Several years past and Zerell now reaching 70 wanders suffering pains emotionally and physically having lost his markings and right eye during the passing years.
Over the years Zerell continued to hone his sword skills owning a blade he dubbed Eternal Regrets keeping it with him at all times along with the necklace of Yelina. 

This does not mean he is fully alone as during his time he came across an Electrike which he came to befriend and catch. This Pokemon now a Manectric is Zerells closest companion.
